Larry D. Carruth

Larry D. Carruth, 52, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Friday, June 9, 2000, after a brief battle with cancer.  He is survived by his wife, Jean Ann Carruth of Albuquerque;  daughter, Kelley Adams and husband, Jeff of Marysville, WA;  son Kent Carruth and wife, Dawn of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Heather, Danielle, and Amanda Adams; Jayson and Tyler Carruth; parents Glen and Audrey Carruth of Peralta; and sister, Anita Visser and husband, CJ of Peralta.  Mr. Carruth was a respected man of his business, church, community, and most of all his family.  He was a self described, simple man who put other's needs before his.  He was proud of his country and he served in the military, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant.  Above and beyond, he had a firm and unwavering belief in God and family.  Services will be held Monday, June 12, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Tramway Community Church, 4800 Tramway Ridge NE, with Pastor Chuck Kofahl officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.  Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, June 11, 2000, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
